Fareham District Scout Band
We recognise the sacrifices made by both the members and their parents in giving up their time. We try not to ask them to give up even more time with extra fundraising events.
As a result we usually have to rely on public or corporate donations.
However should a parent or member of the public like to raise additional funds then we would be truly grateful.
Marching Drums United Kingdom Ltd (MDUK Ltd)
In the past the band has received donations from the following organisations and companies :

BT

The band has an on going task of replacing the instruments. When the band was formed back in 1981 it was with second hand instruments. Now a lot of those instruments are starting to wear out and replacements are required. Without the help of donations from the people, organisations and companies listed on this page, this wouldn't be possible. Our thanks and appreciation goes to each and everyone of them.

If any parent or member has an idea on how to raise money please let us know.
As long as it is legal and doesn't put any of the members at risk we will be willing to listen / help.
Ideally, we would like the person with the idea to take the lead with the event and for us (the leaders & members) to support it.
In the past parents have helped the band either on a Wednesday evening or whilst on parade and have then been able to approach their employer for a donation.
The band is able to claim Gift Aid on all subscriptions.
Where possible, please make sure that you've signed a gift aid form.
This is a help to the band, please help to support us.
We have Photo CD's of the band for each year. We ask for a minimum donation of £5 per CD. If you would like a copy please speak to Phil
